UNIVERSITY Esports UK & Ireland - originally ‘The National University Esports League’ (NUEL) - was founded in 2010 by students, for students. Our mission is to provide all students the opportunity to enjoy gaming and esports while they’re at university.

There is no limit to how many teams and players can sign up from each university. We also work closely with university societies to support on-campus events.
15,000+ Students
The UNIVERSITY Esports community is open to all university students, regardless of skill level. Students can participate with their society, club or university friends.
International Competitions
Select tournaments will qualify students into the UNIVERSITY Esports Masters, to represent the UK against the best European collegiate teams.
